Assam tags over 300 species as threatened

Guwahati: Assam State Biodiversity Board (ASBB) has identified over 300 animal and bird species, including the white winged duck and greater adjutant stork, and 52 plant species, such as crepe myrtle (locally known as Ezar) and Bhatou Phool (flower), as “threatened”.
