India’s 2020 Assessment of Climate Change revealed significant climate shifts since the mid-20th century, including rising extreme and average temperatures, reduced monsoon precipitation, rising sea levels, and intensified severe cyclones. The impacts of climate change are increasingly infringing upon fundamental rights, including the non-negotiable Right to Life, Livelihood, Shelter and Health.
