Deposit plastic waste in beach bins with QR code earn credits

Panaji: A new initiative in Goa is set to test if incentivising can help improve plastic waste deposition in garbage bins. For this pilot project, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ-India), along with its partners Landbell Green Forest Solutions and Innovative Waste Aid & Management, Goa, are set to place 100 garbage bins with QR codes along 10 beach stretches in Goa.
