GURGAON If all goes as planned, ten critically endangered vultures — once commonly spotted in the Indian skies – will be out into the wild from the foothills of Shivalik in Pinjore.
The Jatayu Conservation Breeding Centre plans to release 10 oriental white-backed vultures (gyps bengalensis) in the Bir Shikargaha Wildlife Sanctuary this July as part of measures to reintroduce the species.
