The report which analysed pollution levels from October 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023, notes that November is the worst air quality month for Hyderabad with an average PM2.5 concentrationlevels crossing 71 g/m3.
When it comes to overall Air Quality Index (AQI) during 2022-23 winter, Hyderabad had only 15 good AQI days while majority of 89 days was earmarked as moderately polluted and one day declared as poor.
According to the data, zoo park was the most polluted location in Hyderabad with seasonal average of 71 g/m3, followed by that Sanath Nagar with average of 67 g/m3 and IDA Pashamylaram with 62 g/m3.
