High-tension cables at Najafgarh wetland pose threat to birds, activists want reflectors installed

A greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) with severe injuries on its leg was rescued by wildlife enthusiasts from the Najafgarh wetland last week. According to the wildlife department, the bird may have been caught in high-tension electricity cables in the wetland and left injured.
