Dholera, located in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad district, is not just a coastal landscape but a rich and lesser-known ecological zone. This region boasts of grasslands, wetlands, and marine ecosystems which are home to an abundance of flora and fauna.
As discussed at the 71st National Wildlife Week, Dholera and the surrounding Bhal region support hundreds of bird species, grassland mammals like wolves and blackbucks and a growing coastal ecosystem enriched by mangroves.
