Namakkal: A day after several hundreds of dead fish were found floating in Tirumanimutharu river, the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board on Thursday launched a probe into the incident. Local residents, meanwhile, held the dyeing units polluting the river water by releasing untreated effluents into it responsible for the death of fish.
